We are reaching out this morning to share information about our next Empower Hour, which will be themed “The Great Outdoors” next Friday, October 9th at 12:00 pm. Join us to:
- Get in an hour of outdoors time by joining the call from an outdoor location (the forecast is currently 57 degrees and sunny in Storrs next Friday, and we hope it’s just as nice where you are!)
- Share some of your favorite local, fall outdoor activities and brainstorm a list of socially distanced activities
- Chat about family-friendly ways to safely enjoy the great outdoors this fall
- Rock your favorite fall outfit for the group

The Women’s Affinity Group at the University of Connecticut seeks to strengthen and empower the network of all women faculty, staff, and graduate assistants in our community across various identities through professional development workshops and social networking events.
