Those who continue to commute to the Storrs campus regularly travel past empty Area 1 parking spaces, which is another consequence of the pandemic’s effect on our workplace.
Therefore, we extend the opportunity for University employees to purchase or upgrade to an Area 1 permit that will expire on June 30, 2021, and is NOT RENEWABLE.
Area 1 permit fees will apply to this temporary Area 1 permit offer.

NOTE: Area 1 permit holders who chose not to renew their fall 2020 permits will still be able to renew those permits for the start of the fall 2021 semester.
