  • Seeking Caregivers of Gynecologic Cancer Pateints

    Seeking individuals who served as caregivers/family members of women who died as a result of gynecologic cancers.

    We are conducting a study entitled “Bereavement Practices in Gynecologic Oncology: Physician and Care Team Practices Compared to Caregiver Needs.” The purpose our study is to learn more about the experiences caregivers had with gynecologic cancer doctors and their staff after your loved one lost their battle with cancer.

    Who can participate?

    • Those over the age of 18
    • People who served as a caregiver or who are a close family member of a patient who died from a gynecologic cancer
      • Gynecologic cancers include: Ovarian, Cervical, Uterine, Endometrial, Vaginal, and Vulvar cancers
    • Participants must be English reading/writing who are willing and able to provide informed consent for study participation

    Participation in this study involves the completion of a short screening survey (5 minutes) and a longer survey (20 minutes) if you qualify. Participation in this study is voluntary and strictly confidential. If you participate, your identify will remain anonymous and your email address will be deleted from all records once you complete the surveys. Sensitive questions surrounding your experience will be asked. You will not be contacted outside of submitting survey questions. You will not be paid for being in this study. The benefit of participating is to contribute to improving how we provide care to families and caregivers of those who have lost their lives to gynecologic cancer.
