  • 9/25 History Department's U.S. Foreign Policy Seminar

    The 132nd meeting of UConn History's Foreign Policy Seminar will be held on September 25, 2020. Our speaker will be Stephen Wertheim, co-founder of the John Quincy Adams Institute for Responsible Statecraft, where is he Deputy Director of Research and Policy. He is also a Research Scholar at the Saltzman Institute of Columbia University. Wertheim, who recently published Tomorrow, the World: The Birth of U.S. Global Supremacy, will speak on “The Decision for Dominance: How America Made Itself the World Orderer." The talk will be on WebEx and please contact Frank Costigliola or Meredith Friedman (meredith.friedman@uconn.edu) for log-in information. The talk will start at 5 PM EST.
