Classroom Technology: Multimedia & Screencasts to Enhance Learning
David B. Miller, Psychology Dept.
Wednesday, January 29, 2014
11:15am - 1:10pm
ROWE 321
In this workshop, I'll focus on the effective use of presentation software, with an emphasis on replacing boring bullet points with multimedia to get students engaged in what you are teaching and, thereby, fostering learning. These presentations can then go on to provide a basis for creating screencasts, which are narrated videos that can further enhance learning by providing alternate and/or additional means by which students can access instructional material.
