How do you bring people together when you cannot “meet”? How do you foster engagement without in-person interaction? The landscape for conferences, events, and meetings has changed dramatically since the onset of COVID-19. Where do we go from here? These are the themes we’ll explore at UConnference 2020.
UConnference 2020 will be hosted on July 22 and 23 from 1 – 3 pm. The team from University Events and Conference Services will present a two-day introduction into the world of virtual events.
Designing a virtual event experience can be vastly different than designing an in-person experience. The UECS team is here to help guide you through the steps to successfully plan and execute a virtual event. The first day of UConnference will address the high-level considerations needed to pivot to a virtual event model. The second day will offer facilitated breakout sessions for a more detailed dive into six aspects of virtual events that are essential.
