Target Audience: Faculty, staff, residents, and students interested in clinical research
Learning Objectives: Participants will be able to: a) Describe behavioral health problems that are associated with or exacerbated by traumatic victimization and adversity; b) Describe 3 areas in the brain that show altered trauma-related patterns of activation and connectivity in PTSD; c) Describe the 7 skills for emotion regulation and steps to self-regulation taught by the TARGET intervention.
Accreditation: The University of Connecticut School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
