  • SPARK Summer Camp for Girls in Grades 6-9

UConn School of Engineering Offers two GREAT Summer Programs (camps) for Middle and High School students.

SPARK: SPARK inspires young females to pursue careers in STEM, while having fun! It is an all-female summer program for students in grades 6 through 9, run by female undergraduate UConn Engineering students. SPARK has four different engineering themed sessions: Coding, Underwater Robotics, Designing and Flying Drones, and Engineering Through the Ages.  Click HERE to view the flyer.

Explore Engineering (E2):  This five-day co-ed summer program introduces students to all the different engineering majors at UConn. Students also participate in our Young Engineering Science Scholars (YESS) Program where they get to focus on one particular engineering major that they are most interested in. It’s a great opportunity for students interested in STEM - and engineering in particular - to explore their options before they start applying to college.  For current 10th and 11th grade students.
