The 2019 - 2020 Health Care Open Enrollment for State of Connecticut employees occurs from Monday, May 6 – Friday, May 31, 2019.
During open enrollment, employees may enroll in or change medical and/or dental plans and add or drop coverage for eligible family members without providing proof of a qualifying life event. Employees may also enroll in the Health Enhancement Program (HEP). Any changes made during open enrollment will be effective July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020.
The Office of the State Comptroller’s website provides information on plan offerings and changes for the upcoming year.
Employees may contact Human Resources at benefits@uconn.edu to request a personalized enrollment form. To add an eligible dependent to insurance coverage, employees must provide proof documentation, such as a marriage certificate for a spouse or long-form birth certificate for a child.
