Event: Tonight in the Student Union, the Husky Film Festival will be screening the 2007 Danny Boyle film "Sunshine". The event will be introduced by Political Science Professor Stephen Dyson, who will delve into the film's depiction of nuclear capabilities and the responsibility inherent in scientific progress.
"Sunshine" (2007) was directed by Danny Boyle a year before his hit "Slumdog Millionaire" won the 2008 Best Picture Oscar. The film was written by Alex Garland who was behind recent hits such as "Ex Machina" (2014) and "Annihilation" (2018).
Snacks and water will be provided. The screening is Free and an Honors Event.
