The Connecticut Partnership Against Drugs is a UConn affiliated organization formed by passionate students. Our main goal is to spread information about the current opioid crisis in our state and provide resources in order to stop addiction before it starts.
We will be holding a series of panels including speakers from a variety of professions such as nurses, therapists, police officials, and the Board of Directors for the Connecticut Center for Addiction Recovery. These experienced individuals are eager to answer all of your questions regarding what is an addiction, what are opioids, what means of prevention can be taken, and more.
In addition, our organization will be providing informational pamphlets and information on a local drug take-back event.
Our panel will be held Thursday, April 25th from 5 to 6 PM at the Connecticut Center for Addiction Recovery in Hartford.
The address is 198 Wethersfield Avenue, Hartford, CT, 06114.
