Today in the Library Video Theater 2, the Husky Film Festival is hosting a screening of "Children of Bal Ashram" (2018) with documentarian Len Morris in person to discuss the film. This documentary goes into the work of Nobel Peace Prize winner Kailash Satyarthi and his wife Sumedha who run Bal Ashram, a school for children rescued out of child labor.
Morris will delve into the process of capturing this powerful story in as clear a way as possible and the forces that drive him to bring light to important issues.
