Faculty and staff should save the date for the annual Winter Holiday Celebration and Gingerbread House Decorating Competition on Friday, December 7, 2018. The event will take place 2:30 - 4:30 p.m. at Rome Commons Ballroom, Storrs Campus. During the event 30 teams will compete in a Gingerbread House Decorating Competition.
Enter Lottery to Participate in the Gingerbread House Decorating Competition
Faculty and staff may enter a team (up to five members) into a lottery for selection as a participant in the annual Gingerbread House Decorating Competition. The theme of this year's competition is Builder's Choice! Use your imagination, and wow President Herbst for her last Holiday Season as UConn President! *Please don’t make your houses about the President. She emphasizes that "a gingerbread house honors the holiday season, peace, love and our entire University community, not a person." Let the creativity flow!
Beginning today enter the Gingerbread House Lottery by registering a team for a chance to participate in the competition. Team registration via online form only. The 30 teams selected through the lottery will be posted to the event's website Winter Holiday Celebration on Monday, November 19.
