Additional UConn Information

  • FastTrack BA/BS Program for Undergraduates

The UConn Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) program offers a FastTrack (4+1 B.A./B.S.-M.P.H.) option for qualified students. The program allows students to complete their bachelor’s degrees in any UConn-approved discipline and the MPH degree within 5 years of their initial matriculation as undergraduates.

If you are a current UConn undergraduate with a strong interest in working in the growing field of public health in areas such as health promotion, biostatistics, epidemiology of infectious or chronic diseases and environmental health, then the FastTrack to the M.P.H. could be a great match for you!

    • Complete your bachelor’s degree in any UConn-approved discipline and get a head start on your graduate education while still an undergraduate.
    • Earn your M.P.H. in roughly half the time and for two-thirds of the cost of those who start after graduation.
    • Complete both undergraduate and graduate degrees in as little as five years.
    • Choose FastTrack courses* on the UConn Farmington or Storrs campuses using distance learning/video conferencing technologies.
    • Earn a graduate degree from a program that has been nationally-accredited since 1985 and often recognized for its innovative curriculum.
    • Join more than 700 UConn public health [or M.P.H.] graduates who are making significant contributions to local, national and international health!
