UConn Swing and Blues invites you to a Space themed Dance this Friday, September 23rd. This event is a semi-formal (no dress code) galaxy-themed dance. Doors open at 8:30pm, a beginner swing lesson will start at 8:30 pm, and we will have social dancing after! This dance is open to all skill levels. Although there is no charge, we suggest a $5 donation for students and a $15 donation for community members. We are also looking for volunteers to help decorate at 8:00 pm and clean-up. The dance is held on the second floor of the Storrs Congregational Church in the Parish House (2 N Eagleville Rd, Storrs, CT 06268). We will offer free insomnia cookies, refreshments, and galaxy-themed giveaways. This event is an honors event but anyone can come so bring your friends.
