Celebrate this holiday season with the University Ballet Company's performance of excerpts from The Nutcracker Ballet. This beautiful performance will include the dances of the Sugarplum Fairy, Dew Drop, and Snow Queen as well as corps performances following Clara's journey from the Battle Scene and Land of the Snowflakes to the Land of the Sweets. Join us for this performance that brings magic, excitement, and beautiful dancing to the holiday season. We would love to see you there!
Dancers from UBC, UConn's premier ballet company, have trained with programs including Boston Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, Miami City Ballet, Ellison Ballet, The Hartt School, Gelsey Kirkland Academy, Orlando Ballet, Kaatsbaan, Nutmeg Conservatory and Pennsylvania Ballet.
UBC will be performing excerpts from The Nutcracker at 8:20pm after intermission. Audience members are welcome to come at 8:20 to view just the excerpts from The Nutcracker, or to arrive at 7pm to watch the UConn Dance Company's performance as well
