  • Enrolling Participants (55+yr) with Hypertension

    Tai Chi Study for Adults (55+yr) with Hypertension

    If you are 55 years or older, have (or think you have) high blood pressure, exercise 2 or less times per week, are new to Tai Chi exercise, and can attend research visits and Tai Chi classes online at home, you may qualify for a Tai Chi exercise study held by UConn and the Mansfield Senior Center! Participation in this study involves 12 weeks of online Tai Chi exercise OR performing regular daily activities at home, and seven research visits for measurements of heart and brain health that are performed both online and in-person. The in-person visits are on the UConn Storrs Campus and the Mansfield Senior Center.

    You will receive up to $150 for completing the study!
