Hybrid Classroom teaching strategies

Many instructors experienced hybrid classrooms through WebEx and HuskyCT during Covid-19. This approach is helpful to keep class size small and help both online and in-class, as well as synchronous and asynchronous students have equal opportunities to participate and interact in the class. This seminar will introduce some helpful technologies used in hybrid classrooms and effective teaching strategies. Attendees will be able to: 1) recognize the difference between hybrid classrooms and other online teaching formats; 2) practice teaching strategies in the sample hybrid teaching scenarios; and 3) reflect on their own course design and/or classroom practices.
