  • The Town of Mansfield Wants to Hear from You

Share your thoughts on affordable housing in Mansfield

The Town of Mansfield is conducting a survey to gain input from residents for our Affordable Housing Plan. We need to hear from as many people as possible to gain an understanding of local perspectives and what our community values.

The common definition of affordable housing is when total housing costs are no more than 30% of a household’s income. Affordable housing provides an option for seniors who want to downsize from larger homes. For working families with children. And for young professionals starting their careers, or folks who want to return to the town where they grew up.

What does affordable housing look like? Affordable housing comes in many shapes and sizes including single-family homes. It can be rented or owned and can be in the form of in-law or accessory dwelling units, duplexes, multi-family homes, townhomes, and apartments.

The survey should take about five minutes to complete. Take the survey here.
