  • Events in October for National Work & Family Month

    Please visit the Work/Life website for information on the Work/Life Expo and October Events associated with National Work & Family Month. 

     

    The Virtual Work/Life Expo will be held tomorrow, Tuesday, October 20, 2020, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm via Microsoft Teams. Interact with benefits and service providers and join in a treasure hunt game for door prizes.  

     

    Flu Vaccination Clinic will be held (today) Monday, October 19th for employees with State of Connecticut health insurance.  The flu clinic will be held in the Department of Human Resources parking lot tent on the Depot Campus.  Appointments are required.  Information and registration found at https://hr.uconn.edu/flu-shot-clinic/ 

     

    Additionally, we are holding a Virtual Food Drive for the CT Food Bank.  Please consider donating to help our CT neighbors who are struggling with hunger during the pandemic.  Find our UConn Cares Team donation page at https://p2p.onecause.com/connecticutfoodbank/team/uconn-cares  

    Heads of Schools and Colleges, Departments and Offices are encouraged to facilitate arrangements to cover essential office functions in their respective offices in support of staff member’s attendance at the Work & Family Month events.  In line with University practice, staff should attend events with supervisory approval and operating needs permitting.  All sessions will be recorded for future viewing.
