Assessment of HPV Knowledge, Risks, and Vaccination in UConn Students
ABOUT
This research is being done to assess HPV vaccination rates among UConn students ages 18-28, as well as general knowledge about HPV, at risk behaviors, and the quality and frequency of healthcare preventative actions, in hopes to ultimately increase the understanding of HPV and the ability for people to make more educated decisions about protecting themselves from this virus. This study requires the completion of a confidential and anonymous online survey that will take approximately 5-10 minutes. This study has been approved by the UConn IRB # X20-0173.
WHO IS NEEDED?
- UConn undergraduate and graduate students of all genders
- Ages 18 - 28
BENEFITS
Participants will receive free education about what HPV is, who is at risk, how to lower chances of contracting HPV, who is eligible for the HPV vaccine, and where to go for concerns about individual health regarding the presented information.
Participants will be entered to win one of five $100 Amazon gift cards.
