Imagine spending part of your summer walking across northern Spain on one of the world’s most historic pilgrimage routes — reflecting, learning, and discovering more about yourself and the world around you.
Join us for an information session next Monday evening to learn about UConn’s Summer on the Camino, a study abroad program unlike any other.
📅 Information Session
Monday, November 17
🕕 Time: 6:00 pm-7:00 pm
📍 Location: McHugh 206
This isn’t a typical classroom experience — your classroom is the Camino de Santiago, your lessons come from the people you meet, and your growth happens step by step. You’ll walk through Spanish towns and countryside, engage in guided reflections on purpose, happiness, and resilience, and earn UConn credit while gaining a global perspective few programs can offer.
During the session, you’ll meet program leader Leo Lachut, hear from past participants, and learn about:
Course and credit details
Daily life on the Camino (yes, including the walking!)
Travel and housing logistics
Available scholarships and funding support
If you’re looking for a study abroad experience that challenges and inspires you—one that blends travel, reflection, and community—this program might be your next big step.
We hope you’ll join us to learn more!
