The past week’s events in Boston and its suburbs have proven very emotional to witness and difficult to understand, including for many here at UConn. The campus community shares in the grief for those who died, the admiration for the survivors and public safety personnel, and the hope for justice on their behalf.
Please consider joining us for a moment of silence on campus at 2:50 p.m. today (Monday, April 22) to mark the moment one week ago when this tragic event occurred in Boston.
UConn also has therapists available at (860) 486-4705 to talk confidentially with students any concerns or emotional difficulties they face, either because of the events in Boston or other challenges in their lives. More information about those services can also be found at: www.counseling.uconn.edu
