Jazz Lab Band To Perform
The University of Connecticut Jazz Lab Band will perform at the von der Mehden Recital Hall on Monday April 22nd at 7:30pm. Under the direction John Mastroianni, the band will perform a variety of jazz pieces from artists including: Bill Holman, Jim McNeely, John LaBarbera, and Eric Richards. Director John Mastroianni has performed as a professional musician since the age of fifteen. He has since then gained a diverse music experience ranging from a free-lance musician to performing with his own quartet. This will be a concert you won’t be able to miss.
General admission is $10 and students and children are free. von der Mehden Recital Hall is located at 875 Coventry Road, on the UConn Storrs campus across from Mirror Lake.
