The UConn Chemistry Club is selling survival bracelets and keychains to provide for the rest of the year's (and next year's) activities!
What is a survival bracelet, you may ask? It is a bracelet made with 550 paracord (military-grade parachute cord) that can be used in emergency situations as a light rope. It is called 550 paracord because it can hold up to 550 lbs before breaking.
The kind we have is not only useful, but very stylish. We have any color combination under and over the sun, and can take orders.
Want to see what is available? Come check it out! They will be available in the Chemistry Atrium, the Chemistry Club meetings (6-9PM in Chem A120 on Wednesdays, along with our free Chemistry tutoring program) or in the Chemistry Club Office (beside the drink coolers at the Chemistry Cafe).
