Explore ways to partner with Microsoft Copilot to design your course. We will cover how Microsoft’s Copilot GenAI tool may help you draft measurable course and module objectives; chunk out your course meaningfully; and brainstorm ideas for assessments and course materials. Whether you are revising an existing course or designing a new course from scratch, this session will demonstrate how Microsoft Copilot may amplify your course design expertise.
Objectives: Upon completion of this session, participants will be able to:
- Discuss ethical and pedagogical considerations for using Microsoft Copilot as a course design partner.
- Explore opportunities for partnering with Microsoft Copilot to design courses.
- Use Microsoft Copilot for a few common course design and/or redesign tasks.
- Reflect on the strengths and limitations of partnering with Microsoft Copilot to design a course.
- Access useful Microsoft Copilot course design resources and examples.
