We will discuss how we can promote and encourage the growth mindset in our students by addressing practices such as:
grading strategies that reward process as well as product
praising improvement and not just ability
providing feedback that directs students to strategies for improvement
incorporating reflection and goal-setting
identifying optimal levels of challenge at each step of the learning process
