Graduate and Professional Students:
You have an opportunity to run for a very important position.
Applications are currently available for those who want to run for Graduate Student Representative to the Board of Trustees. All graduate and professional students in the system (at all campuses) are eligible to run for the Graduate Student Rep position.
The first part of the application, “Intent to Run” is very short. It is due Friday, February 2, 2018 at noon. The second part of the application is a little longer-but not overwhelming. It includes a candidate statement and signatures and is due February 9, 2018 at noon.
Information about the position and application materials are available at www.vote.uconn.edu under “2018 Elections.” Click on “Board of Trustees.” to access the election packet. Part of the packet is a letter from the current Graduate Student Trustee, Kevin Braghirol, and in that letter he shares what is has been like to be part of the Board of Trustees.
Voting will take place on line from February 27 at Noon to March 1, 2018 at Noon. Notices about voting will be sent when the polls open.
