  • Interested In Current Events or Politics?

Do you have an interest in current events or politics?  How about business or new science and technology?  These topics and many more are included in The Economist, a high-level analytical news magazine read mostly by well educated people including many business executives and politicians.  Rather than blatantly leaning far left or right,  The Economist varies between both sides of the political spectrum but gives a full analysis behind their reasoning.  This way, The Economist stands out from super liberal/conservative publications and news sites that simply tell the reader what happened without an analysis.

Reading this magazine is a great way to stand out from others in political debate because of the vast knowledge you'll gain about current events.  It allows you to be able to have an intelligent argument about topics since you learn both sides of arguments, and also gives you a background of what's going on in the world so if someone asks you what your opinion on an event is, you will know exactly what they're talking about and have an intellectual backing for your opinion.
