The UConn T shirt Fundraising Campaign for Puerto Rico, which can be visited at https://www.customink.com/fundraising/uconn-unitedforpuertorico is a UConn-endorsed initiative created to show UConn's support to Puerto Rico.
The shirt sends this message by depicting the husky with Puerto Rico’s national animal — the coqui — on his forehead. This campaign is an effort that both UConn students and faculty were involved in.
So go ahead and get some cool new UConn gear for a great cause!
Of note, if you would like to help but are not interested in the T shirt, in this campaign there is also the option to donate without buying the T shirt. All funds will go toward United for Puerto Rico, an initiative from Puerto Rico’s First Lady to help Puerto Rico recover from the hurricane.
