  • 9/20 Interested in Public Health/Leadership? Join RHISE

UConn RHISE (Resolving Health Inequities through Service and Education) is all about innovative and sustainable health-care solutions by students.

Think about why you wanted to go into public health, healthcare, practioning medicine, social work, education - who or what was your inspiration? Don't let anyone tell you that just because you're a student, you can't make a difference within the cause you're passionate about! Join RHISE and take part in initiatives that are proposed and implemented by members! OR submit your own idea for a fundraiser, event or community-service project and we will do our best to give you the resources to turn those visions into reality. Gain leadership experience and have something concrete to show for it, or come to learn about our exciting new infant mortality project this semester!

Past events have included awareness for fatal brain injury survivors, a #NoChildBrides photo/social media campaign to combat the practice of child marriage around the world, and painting a mural and planting a garden with children in low-income housing developments to act as a safe space.

Come to the Student Union Room 303 at 7 PM on Wednesday, 9/20!!!
