  • 8/15 Exciting New Transit Pass: U-Pass CT

    Dear UConn Students,

    UConn Transportation Services is excited to announce a new university transit pass program, U-Pass CT, to begin at the UConn Hartford, Stamford, Storrs and Waterbury campuses in Fall 2017.  This transit pass will provide students access to public transit across the state.

    How to Use

    All students need is a U-Pass CT and a valid student ID to ride public transit in Connecticut.  No payment will be required.  

    How to Get the Pass

    This U-Pass CT is free to students at the Downtown Hartford, Stamford, Storrs and Waterbury campuses.  Student can order the U-Pass CT for free at http://park.uconn.edu/transit-passes/

    Where is the Pass Valid

    Rail: 

    The pass is valid on the New Haven Line and Shore Line East for intrastate (only within CT) rail travel.  The pass is not valid for rail travel to New York City or on Amtrak.

    Conditions of Use

    • U-Pass CT is valid for use by full-time students enrolled at UConn Harford, Stamford, Storrs, and Waterbury campuses.
    • U-Pass CT is valid for unlimited rides within Connecticut on local & express buses, CTfastrak, Shore Line East, and intrastate New Haven Line services.
    • This pass is not refundable or transferable.
    • A valid UConn student ID must be shown at time of pass use.
    • Do not fold, bend, or place near magnet. Lost, stolen, or destroyed passes should be reported to Transportation Services.  A $20 fee (plus taxes) will be charged for all replacement passes.
