  • 7/24 Flow Cytometry Core Facility Move to BPB G05

The Flow Cytometry Core Facility will move from Biology/Physics Building room 303 to Biology/Physics Building room G05 on July 24, 25, 26, and 27, 2017.

Manufacturer equipment servicing has been scheduled for the time of the relocation; as such, there will be very limited access to the facility equipment and services during the dates of the move.

Please take note of the following dates, and also check the Flow Cytometry Google Calendars to appropriately plan your experiments:

Sunday, 7/23, 2017 - Last day of Flow Cytometry Facility services before the instrumentation is shutdown (at 5pm).

Monday, 7/24, 2017 through Wednesday, 7/26, 2017 - All Flow Cytometry Facility services will be suspended (sorting, data acquisition on analyzers, training, etc.)

Thursday, 7/27, 2017 - Flow Cytometry Facility equipment will be revalidated and tested.

Friday, 7/28, 2017 - Flow Cytometry Facility services will be restored.

(if, due to unforeseen circumstances, there are any changes to the schedule noted above, current users of the Flow Facility will be notified via email.)

If there are any questions regarding the move, or the Flow Cytometry Facility more generally, please do not hesitate to contact the Facility Scientist/Director Dr. Wu He via email at wu.he@uconn.edu or stop by his office (which will be located in the G05 suite).  Dr. Wu should additionally be contacted if you presently have off-peak access to BPB 303 and wish to retain off-peak access in G05 (in this case please email him with your NetID and the five digit pin on the back of your ID card).

We apologize in advance for any inconvenience the suspension in service may cause, but look forward to working with you again in our new space!
