We would like to bring the following changes to your attention that might affect your 2017/18 parking experience.
To address concerns expressed by commuter student parkers, overnight (1AM – 6AM) parking restrictions will be enforced on F-lot, W-lot, Y/8 Lot (adjacent to the South Garage) and Commuter park locations throughout the Horsebarn Hill area during the upcoming permit year. Overnight student parking will still be available on C-lot and on our J-Lot, which is a new 150 space surface lot scheduled to open on Discovery Drive before the start of the 2017 fall semester.
Student parking permit sales will begin July 1, 2017. Permits will be available for purchase at www.park.uconn.edu after that date. Students will be reminded of the July 1, opening permit sales date via email messages and postcards sent to their home addresses. Please remember confirm that your “home address” is correctly listed in the University’s directory before leaving campus for the summer.
