The Fourth Annual UConn Football 101 Clinic - presented by Fox 61 -- will take place on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at the Burton Football Family Complex and Mark R. Shenkman Training Center in Storrs.
Clinic participants will enjoy a cocktail hour, silent auction and a meet-and-greet before taking the field with the Husky team for light drills and on-field fun.
“The UConn Football 101 event is a great opportunity for our program to engage in a truly unique way with a some of our most loyal supporters,” said head coach Randy Edsall. “The night also benefits a very worthy cause in UConn Health and I hope as many of our female fans as possible can join us.”
The event begins at 5:30 p.m. with the cocktail hour and registration while the clinic is from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
All participants are asked to wear athletic clothing and shoes to the clinic. The event is for women only and participants must be 21 years of age or older.
The registration cost is $70 ($60 for early registration) and includes a jersey, food, souvenir item and two tickets to a Husky home game this fall.
Silent auction proceeds will benefit programs for women's cancer prevention and research at UConn Health.
