  • 4/10 Seeking UConn Alumni for Etiquette Dinner Event

Are you a UConn alum? Consider signing up as a volunteer host for the annual UConn Etiquette Dinner!

    Monday, April 10, 2017
    6 - 8:30 p.m.
    UConn Alumni Center

No matter where you interview, intern, or work, etiquette is important. Students will be learning how to present a professional image while practicing those skills over a three-course meal. Shanyelle Young '92 (CLAS) and Jessica Sokol '12 (ED) will be sharing tips and anecdotes. We're looking to add 2-3 alumni hosts per table so students can start networking and learn tips from the "real world".

Not sure what kind of advice you have to share? We welcome etiquette horror stories and embarassing tales that happened to you or other folks you know.

Don't think you know anything about etiquette? Come learn alongside our students!

Whether you're a 1956 or 2016 graduate, alumni of all experience levels and from all industries are encouraged to attend. You can sign up through the link below, and your registration will be complimentary.

    Entree choices include:

    • Teriyaki Strip Steak
    • Chicken Chardonnay with White Wine Artichoke Sauce
    • Roast Acorn Squash filled with Vegetable Couscous (vegan)

Space at the Etiquette Dinner is limited, so sign up quickly to ensure your spot at the dinner table. To register for this event, please visit our registration page.

We can accommodate a variety of needs, so please let us know on the registration form if you have dietary restrictions. Registration will close on Monday, April 3, 2017 at 11:59 p.m.
