This is a reminder that all Graduate Assistants who were GAs this past fall must complete the GA Program for Teaching and Instruction by January 20th, 2017. The link to the online course is on your HuskyCT homepage under "non-class sites". If you are a new GA starting this spring, you will be enrolled in a different HuskyCT module with your completion date later in the spring semester.
The purpose of this training is to build upon the information that graduate students receive in their face-to-face orientations while supplementing their training with critical information regarding support services and resources. Designed in collaboration with the Graduate School, the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning, and the Neag School of Education, the Graduate Assistant Program for Teaching and Instruction aims to provide graduate students with opportunities to develop foundational knowledge and skills useful in their current and future teaching positions.
