  • 12/31 UConn Undergraduate Law Journal Submissions

During the 2016 – 2017 academic year, The Law Society will be publishing the second edition of the UConn Undergraduate Law Journal. We will be looking for submissions, which may be papers you have already written for class to papers written for research, or a paper independently written specifically for the journal. If you are to submit a paper previously written, we ask that you edit it to fit the tone of the journal. We would like to attempt to construct a theme for the journal, centering on U.S. law and domestic policy. If you cannot think of anything to write, we are providing this optional prompt:

Due to the recent passing of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, there is now a vacant seat on the Supreme Court bench. How do you believe this is going to change the dynamic of the court (ex: will there be one dominant type of interpretation)? Using a potential nominee of your choosing, how do you think said candidate would change the Supreme Court if they were to be successfully appointed?

The deadline for submissions is December 31st, 2016.
