The University has contracted with BL Companies (and their sub-contractors) to map the utilities owned by UConn and to create a GIS database of those utilities.
This week the SUE crew will be marking out underground utilities in the vicinity of the Commissary Warehouse, Whitney Residence Hall, Sprague Residence Hall, Honors House, President’s Residence, Shippee Residence Hall, EO Smith, Mansfield Town Hall, and Mansfield Community Center.
The survey crew will be locating the field markouts in the vicinity of Wilson Residence Hall, Rosebrooks Residence Hall, Fine Arts Complex, Buckley Residence Hall, and EO Smith.
These mark outs are not associated with any planned construction. We have requested that the team use chalk paint so that the markings will be as temporary as possible.
