Please be advised that Connecticut Water Company in conjunction with UConn Facilities will be conducting a flushing program in the Depot Campus Water System between the hours of 7:00am and 4:00pm from Tuesday, May 31st to Friday, June 3rd. This distribution system flushing is a routine program, performed to maintain water quality and as required by the State of Connecticut Public Health Code. If you notice a temporary reduction in water pressure and/or discolored water, do not be alarmed. Avoid using washing machines, dishwashers and other water using devices during flushing operations. To help clear discolored water, briefly run the cold water tap. If discolored water or low pressure persists after several hours, contact Facilities Operations at 860-486-3113.
