Volunteers are needed to participate in a research study titled  “Talker-specificity in spoken language processing.”  The purpose of this study is to examine how listeners adjust to talker difference in speech production.

Adults with and without reading disorders who are between 18-35 years of age are invited to participate.  The research takes place in 1-2 sessions approximately 60 minutes long at the UConn Laboratory for Spoken Language Processing on the Storrs campus.  Participants will listen to speech sounds or read words on a screen and will be asked to indicate what they hear or see.
