  • 3/5 Save the Date - Horse Symposium on March 5th & 6th

Mark your calanders for UCONN's Annual Horse Symposium!  This year it will be on March 5th and 6th from 9am to 4pm.

This year, on Saturday, Ben Wallace will be giving a clinic focusing on Beyond Basic Groundwork from 9 am- 12 pm, and Meg Brauch, who is a Uconn graduate, will be giving a demo/clinic on Straightness Training for all levels of riders.  There will also be demonstrations from the Uconn Morgan Drill Team and a Uconn Polo match on Sunday at 1 pm.

Sunday will include Hands on Horse Science day conducted by Uconn students and Tufts veterinarians and students. This is a great opportunity to work with those in the Animal Science industry and gain more knowledge of the Equine Science field.

If you would like to participate in one of the clinics with your own horse or a UCONN horse, please pre-register by March 1st, by sending your forms (available on http://animalscience.uconn.edu/horseSymp/index.php) to the UCONN Department of Animal Science (address on forms).
