“In my daughter’s junior year at UConn, she was invited to a banquet where she was given an endowed scholarship. At that point, the idea of establishing a scholarship for a deserving student became a goal of mine. I contacted the UConn Foundation and they made it very easy to establish my family’s fund and got me on the path to funding the endowment. I think that a scholarship, in addition to helping a student financially, communicates the message that the donor has faith in him.”
