  • 12/12 Museum: Connecticut's Earliest European Settlers

The Connecticut State Museum of Natural History, part of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at UConn, presents “Connecticut’s Earliest European Settlers,” a lecture by Dr. State Archaeologist Dr. Brian Jones. The lecture will be held at the Connecticut State Museum of Natural History on the UConn Storrs Campus, Saturday, December 12 at 3 pm.

At a number of archeological digs this past summer archaeologists unearthed clues about Connecticut’s colonial past. Join Dr. Brian Jones, Connecticut’s State Archaeologist who led these excavations, and discover what these recent archaeological explorations in Windsor and Glastonbury tell us about Connecticut’s earliest European settlers.
