SUBJ: Town Hall Meeting on Tuition Planning - October 29
The University community is invited to attend an informational Town Hall Meeting on Thursday, October 29 at 5pm in Konover Auditorium in the Thomas J. Dodd Research Center. The subject of the Town Hall meeting is future tuition planning for the Storrs and Regional Campuses. During the meeting, University staff will present information regarding the university’s budget, the role tuition plays in the budget, key funding priorities, financial aid, and the financial challenges the university faces. The purpose of the meeting is to solicit questions and comments from the university community regarding UConn’s finances, funding priorities and tuition rates before the university prepares tuition proposals to present to the UConn Board of Trustees for its consideration.
No specific proposals regarding UConn tuition rates for future years will be presented during the Oct. 29 meeting.
Once prepared, any proposals regarding tuition will be shared with the university community later this semester before they are considered by the Board of Trustees.
