    SAVE THE DATE: CHIP-School of Dental Medicine Networking Event 

     

    Thursday, November 5  /  5:30pm-7:30pm  /  Wood-n-Tap Restaurant, 99 Sisson Avenue, Hartford, CT

     Melissa Riddle, PhD,

    Chief of Behavioral and Social Sciences Research Branch at National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR), will be at the event to discuss NIDCR research priorities.

     

    The Center for Health, Intervention, and Prevention (CHIP) and the UConn School of Dental Medicine are collaborating to provide Dual-PI Seed Grants for Collaborative Research in Dental Health and Health Behavior.

    Two grants of $25,000 apiece will be awarded to collaborating pairs of PIs. Each pair must be comprised of a PI from UConn-Storrs and a PI from the School of Dental Medicine, and at least one PI must be affiliated with CHIP.

     

    • Please join us to find out about these exciting new collaborative seed grants and to meet potential research collaborators from the School of Dental Medicine and CHIP!
    • Attendees will have the opportunity to present a brief, 2-minute presentation on their research expertise and what they are looking for in a collaborator.
