  • 10/22 Project Presentations from SE Asian Entrepreneurs

UConn's Global Training and Development Institute (GTDI) invites you to attend project presentations from participants in the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI)!

During the month of October, UConn GTDI has hosted 21 college student leaders from Southeast Asia at the Storrs campus to participate in a five-week program to learn about the U.S., economic development, and social entrepreneurship.  The students later apply the skills learned in the program to address challenges back in their home countries.  The program is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State.  The Young Southeast Asian Leadership Initiative (YSEALI), launched in 2013, (https://youngsoutheastasianleaders.state.gov/about-yseali/) aims to strengthen leadership development in areas of social entrepreneurship.

    • Stop by the Library's Class of 1947 Room on Thursday 10/22, anytime between 8:30am-12:00pm, to watch some of the participants' social entrepreneurship project presentations.
