    ABOUT THE EXHIBITIONS:
    The 49th Annual Art Department Faculty Exhibition showcases the newest works of the permanent faculty in the Art and Art History Department of the School of Fine Arts at UConn — Judith Thorpe, Edvin Yegir, Olu Oguibe, Alison Paul, John O'Donnell, Ray DiCapua, Pamela Bramble, Kathryn Meyers, Brad Guarino, Charles Hagen, Laurie Sloan, Frank Noelker, Jennifer Wheeler, and Blake Shirley. 

    Sacred Sisters:  In Praise of Art & Poetry is a collaboration between visual artist Holly Trostle Brigham and award-winning poet Marilyn Nelson, whose works explore issues of gender and creativity, religion and history, and the connections between text and image.
