    UConn Voice Area presents their 2015 Fall Songfest: Oktoberliederfest

    on Sunday, October 18th at 5:00pm at von der Mehden Recital Hall at the University of

    Connecticut Storrs Campus.

     

    Undergraduate and graduate singers from UConn’s Voice Area will perform some of Franz

    Schubert’s most popular songs as well as songs by Richard Strauss, Joseph Marx, and Hugo

    Wolf. The program will conclude with a group a cappella arrangement of Schubert’s “An die

    Musik,” (To Music) arranged by UCONN's own Jared Graveley. There will also be entertainment

    before the concert and during intermission generously provided by the students of the

    Coordinator of the String Area

     

    Oktoberliederfest will run for one performance only on Sunday, October 18th at 5:00pm at von

    der Mehden Recital Hall on the UConn Storrs Campus. Admission for this event is free to

    students and $10 for the general public. Free parking will also be available in the lot

    immediately adjacent to von der Mehden. We hope to see you there!
