    Lunchtime Seminar

    Providing an opportunity for faculty, graduate students, and professional staff to gather with colleagues to listen, discuss, comment, interact and reflect on a variety of topics to enhance teaching and learning.

    The Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning offers the following workshop:

    Prepare for Take-off: Teaching Your Online Course

    Are you teaching an upcoming online course and are curious about facilitating it in an online environment? This seminar is for faculty that already have an online course created or one that is under development. We will discuss: 1) online implementation concerns, 2) the community of inquiry model, 3) the four major roles of an online facilitator, 4) best practices for online facilitation, and 5) how to locate tools and resources available to support your online teaching.
